Let’s Get to 200 Canvasses for the Homeless!

Hey,

You had a great week last week.

In just seven days, over 100 new members signed up to support Denver art in their neighborhood! This motivated group of volunteers, talented citizens, and artists scored mainstream publicity, knocked on doors, and rallied citizens in massive numbers to support Denver art.

In four days alone, you pledged over $1,100 in supplies for artists living on the streets of Denver.

Tomorrow, downtown homeless shelters will begin receiving the first round of art kits — over 50 large 4ft wooden canvas, paints, brushes, and art education materials. Workshops will be held and never-before-heard stories will be told.

Each one of these men, women, and children living on the streets now has the opportunity to share their art on the First Friday Santa Fe ArtWalk.

Your support is not only giving money to the homeless (all artworks will be auctioned off on Nov 6 with 100% going to the artist) but also nurture Denver’s creativity — our greatest sustainable resource. By supporting educational development you are giving a gift that lasts a lifetime. Your donations are teaching valuable, marketable skills to your fellow citizens.

And we can do more.

Help us reach our goal of 200 canvasses, and be a part of this remarkable project: the largest display of homeless art in America’s history.

DONATE $5 OR MORE &raquo

Every $20 pledged is one more canvas painted, one more story told, and one more life changed.

Short on cash? Even $1 donated to the Denver Art Society will allow you to purchase art at the Denver Homeless Art Exhibit. Register for the event now with a donation of $1 or more.

Thanks for all the hard work, Denver! Keep doing great things!

Sincerely,
Sean
